Documentaries, short films, music videos and experimental work shot in Barcelona and across Catalonia, uploaded by the directors and crews who made them. Each entry carries the piece itself, embedded or uploaded as a file, with the synopsis, the credits, the year and the language it was shot in.

The city turns up on screen constantly, usually pretending to be somewhere else. What gets posted here is the other thing: work people made on their own terms. Neighbourhood documentary, a short with two actors and a stairwell, a video for a small label, a brand job that paid the rent. Catalan and Spanish versions of the same film are common.

Each piece comes with the director's note on how it was made, which here usually includes the budget it was made on and how many days it took. The artist page behind it carries the email and phone for anyone wanting to talk about a commission or a collaboration, and none of it asks you to sign in.

The local circuit runs on festivals and small rooms, and a piece can spend two years travelling before it can go out in the open. So some entries hold the whole film and others hold a fragment, a teaser, or only stills and a poster while the run lasts. The director says on each page what is available to watch.
