Venganza
“Venganza” (Revenge) 2025 oval 120 x 160 cm, acrylic, ink, canvas on a board. In Venganza, I create a vibrant, surreal world in which feminine power, desire, and revenge intertwine with mythology and fantasy. At the center of the composition, a woman with flowing red hair sits confidently beside a magnificent turquoise tiger, embodying both sensuality and strength. Around her, mysterious female figures appear like different manifestations of femininity: a seductive woman holding a fan, a veiled figure dressed in black, and other enigmatic presences inhabiting this dreamlike universe. The tiger becomes a symbol of untamed instinct, protection, and feminine authority. Beneath its powerful paws lies a severed male head, introducing a touch of dark humor and suggesting a reversal of traditional power dynamics. The intense yellow background, exotic vegetation, and theatrical arrangement of figures transform the scene into a contemporary myth, where beauty and danger coexist, and the boundaries between victim and conqueror become blurred. Through my artistic philosophy of Magical Feminism, I explore the complex relationship between femininity and masculinity, questioning conventional ideas of dominance, submission, and desire. For me, Venganza is not simply a story of revenge, but a playful and provocative celebration of feminine autonomy, instinct, and the freedom to rewrite one's own destiny.
