Clio
“Clio” 2026 Diameter: 80 cm\ Ink, oil, and glossy varnish on canvas. The theme of woman as muse—a bearer of knowledge, intuition, and inner continuity—is one of the central elements of my artistic practice and runs through much of my work. This painting holds a personal story: a lyrical self-portrait of my youth, capturing a moment in my life when feminine inner wisdom already existed within me, even though life experience had not yet fully unfolded. The central figure embodies a state of silent listening and contemplation, when intuition precedes events. Around the protagonist unfold her fantasies, premonitions, and scenes from the near future, like fragments of memories not yet lived. She remains seated at the center of the composition, slowly turning the pages of a book—a symbol of time, of a story being written, and of a consciousness taking shape. This unhurried gesture contrasts with the narrative movement surrounding her, emphasizing the tension between inner knowing and the unfolding of destiny.
