This series retraces a difficult year that gave birth To an abstract and visceral painting. Through it I reclaimed the temporality and the narrative Of my own lived experience, opening dialogue and lifting the taboos surrounding mental health, and more precisely depression, A condition universally encountered And yet so often left unspoken. Each work marks a powerful moment in this metamorphosis. The colors that radiate from them bear witness To that vital force that bursts forth, even when we believe it gone, And that allows us to keep moving forward.
