Tati Amaya

Tati Amaya is a Barcelona-based flamenco guitarist and part of one of the city's most storied flamenco lineages. He is a great-nephew of Carmen Amaya, widely regarded as the greatest flamenco dancer in history, and grew up within the Amaya family's deep-rooted flamenco tradition in Barcelona.

He began performing as a child in his parents' company, alongside guitarist Santiago Aguilar and dancer Mercedes Amaya "la Winy," absorbing the craft from the ground up. That grounding shows in his playing today: rooted, expressive, and instinctively attuned to the dancer and singer beside him. He continues to perform regularly in tablaos across Barcelona and throughout Spain, carrying forward a sound shaped by decades of family tradition and stagecraft.
