Picasso Cyprus: Encounters with the Ceramics of the Mediterranean

Picasso’s ceramics enter into dialogue with ancient Cypriot clay vessels. The exhibition explores how the forms and symbols of Cypriot antiquity influenced his experimentation in clay, bringing together works from European collections, Museu Picasso and the Department of Antiquities of Cyprus.
